As President, Matthew Eichhorst is a board member of Expedia® CruiseShipCenters® International Inc. and provides leadership for all of the company's business units. In addition to overseeing the Finance and Information Technology teams, Eichhorst spearheads business planning with senior management, leveraging automation to drive operational efficiencies throughout the organization.
Eichhorst holds a BSC in Computer Science with a secondary focus on Business/Economics as well as training in Project Management, Quality / Six Sigma, Application Development and Solution Selling. He is also well noted for his extensive success as an entrepreneur.
In 1989, he founded Aardvark Consulting, a custom software application development and IT consulting firm which quickly garnered national recognition. Aardvark became a leader in the collaborative computing marketplace, prompting IBM to make Eichhorst an elite member of the IBM Worldwide Software Executive Counsel for two consecutive two-year terms. Aardvark was purchased by GE Capital in 1997 and retained Eichhorst as a senior executive responsible for the national e-business practices and professional services business.
Eichhorst is a recipient of the Business in Vancouver Forty Under Forty award, a past board member of Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO), and was twice awarded the coveted Who's Who in Canada designation.
