Travel Weekly has recognized Expedia CruiseShipCenters’ World Explorer Promotion in the “Best Campaign” category for the 2009 Magellan Awards. With entries from across the US and around the world, the Magellan Awards is the premier awards program honoring the best in the travel industry.
The World Explorer Event is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind promotion focusing on Premium, Luxury and River cruise lines. It begins with a full day of training with over 800 Expedia CruiseShipCenters’ Cruise Consultants attending personal presentations by cruise line representatives. Consumer marketing includes direct mail, email, and cruise night events promoting the exclusive offers available.
